The Lac du Flambeau 4th of July Celebration is held in our beautiful Lac du Flambeau Downtown area. There will be various vendors selling Authentic Native American Arts and Crafts, as well as Native American food. The Celebration kicks off at Noon with the Kiddie Parade, the Big Parade will follow with judging to take place prior at the Community Center when the floats line up. Stay and experience our heritage with our spectacular Pow-Wow in the historic Waaswaaganing Indian Bowl. The Pow-Wow will start with a Special Opening Act which will be the Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company. Spectator participation is always welcome, so bring your best dancing shoes (moccasins). There will be a $10 entry fee to everyone, 6 yrs. and under will be $1, and the elders 62 and older are $5. Pow-Wow will start at 7:00pm, with the fireworks to follow at dusk. This is free to all vendors!! Get those floats ready!!!
